Patterson West Cascade is a 4.3m high, 1.2m wide ribbon cascade on a tributary of Hickory Brook. Its source is almost exclusively run-off from Patterson Road and as a result, there is little to no flow unless there has been recent rainfall. The area in which it is located has more recently become very heavily overgrown with thorn bushes that sport extremely long and sharp thorns.
